hunter taylor | associate / youth pastor
I’ve been in vocational ministry since 2014, and in 2018, I had the joy of joining the Brown Corners Church team as the Youth Pastor. BCC has always been home for me—I grew up in the pews, surrounded by a church family that shaped me in countless ways. So when the opportunity came to step in and serve the same community that invested in me, I couldn’t say yes fast enough.
I’m a big-time sports guy—whether I’m coaching basketball, catching as many Tigers and Pistons games as I can, or geeking out over my sports card collection, I’m all in. My Grandpa Buck got me started on collecting, and now I’m proud to carry on the collection he began. One of the highlights? A 1953 Satchel Paige card that was his favorite—and now it’s one of mine too. It’s more than a card; it’s a connection to him and our shared love of the hobby.
My favorite part of ministry is getting to experience and help others experience God’s faithfulness in real time—through both the mountaintop moments and the valleys we walk through. There’s nothing like seeing lives transformed by God’s grace and presence.
I earned my B.A. in Youth Ministry Leadership from Eastern University, and I’m currently working on my M.A. in Theological Studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. When I’m not in the office, out on a youth trip, or studying, you’ll probably find me golfing, fishing, hunting, or chasing around my two dogs, Bo and Rocky.
